Randy McLaren, renowned sneakerhead and owner of Cuts & Slices pizza joints, is known for his community-centric approach. To announce his collaboration with adidas, we focused on Brooklyn, his home turf. We implemented launch tactics across various media channels to inform the locals about the upcoming sneaker drop and block party.

Using creative guerilla marketing methods like large wheatpaste posters, stickers, door hangers, and postcards, we spread the word. Incoporating a modern take on the iconic pizza checkerboard design.

To sustain the excitement, we create PR kits featuring a pear of sneakers, the announcement, a personalized note from Randy, and other merch. This kit was delivered in an adidas x Cuts & Slices pizza box and tote, capturing attention with its appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Our objective was to generate buzz and foster a strong connection between the community, Cuts & Slices, and adidas. Through these targeted marketing efforts, we successfully conveyed the vision.
